Maybe if you pictured currencies more as “current-sees” — the shared symbol systems we make to shape, enable, and measure flows/currents. You might see how much we are suffering from a poverty of currency — bad measures creating cancerous patterns of wealth.

Once you’ve seen the world through a lens which shows currencies as the nervous systems of our social organisms, you realize how many good more ones we need. Post-monetary economies may the answer to the poverty that is structured into today’s currencies
