In fairness to IPFS, I think they would claim their Merkle DAG / IPLD is a kind of hash tree or hash chain that plays a similar role for data integrity and immutability as in Holochain and blockchain. And also that their use of content-addressable hashes ensures data integrity.

Emaline, I know you received some technical advice to the contrary of what I’m saying, I just want to add it here to balance the perspective a bit so that IPFS is not too under-represented.
