For my needs, I do not see any advantages of a token transaction engine with a hardcoded consensus algorithm (Hashgraph), over an agent-centric generalized dApps engine (Holochain).

Hashgraph will be less efficient, requiring consensus on everything (even if 99% of data is non-rival and doesn’t need it). It’s less flexible for building applications (so far it’s just token spends). It doesn’t shard (all nodes have to process all transactions).

So far, it is also closed source, patented, and they’ve recently announced a coalition of corporations to govern it.

Do you see some advantages for your needs or use cases?
